About five or six years ago I began to experience periods of dizziness or light-headedness that I was not able to account for. I was frustrated enough to turn to medical science for possible help, but I soon discovered that doctors found it difficult to point precisely to the cause or to the cure. Even after a stay for diagnosis at the Center for Dysfunctional Autonomics at Vanderbilt University Hospital, I was told by specialists that the good news was my dizziness was not life threatening, but they were unable to determine what caused it, and they were unable to prescribe medication for a possible cure or even treatment.
It was not until, upon the recommendation of a physician friend, that I was directed to EFT and Barbara Thoren Parker for treatment. After learning the EFT tapping procedure, I began to experience curtailment of my dizziness. Now, instead of the dizziness/vertigo controlling me, I feel I control the dizziness/vertigo. When I am affected with vertigo or light headedness, I am able to do the tapping procedure taught to me by Thoren Parker and eliminate it on my own.
With increased instruction from Thoren Parker, who is a gifted as well as knowledgeable teacher, it is my hope that the dizziness that has plagued me can be eliminated – without the use of medication – which in itself may be the source of my light-headedness/vertigo.
Another benefit seems to have occurred because of my exposure to EFT: a lowering of my blood pressure, for which I now take heavy medication I would like to eliminate. Needless to say, I am extremely pleased with this outcome as well.
